Bowral, nestled in the Southern Highlands
THE VENUE
Escape to the tranquil beauty of the Southern Highlands, an idyllic retreat where relaxation meets nature. Nestled at the base of Mount Gibraltar, this private, leafy haven is the perfect destination for a rejuvenating weekend getaway, whether you're seeking peaceful reflection, connection, or a little adventure.
Settle in and unwind with ample space to relax and recharge either in the house or the cottage — it features 8 beautifully appointed bedrooms, inviting communal spaces, and charming details that make it feel like home. Gather around the cozy slow-combustion fire on cool evenings, or sink into the sun-drenched conservatory for a quiet read. The lush garden views offer the perfect backdrop for your movement practice or simply enjoying a moment of calm.
Throughout your weekend, you’ll be treated to thoughtfully prepared meals by Chef Angie, who crafts delicious, wholesome dishes that nourish both the body and soul. Enjoy leisurely breakfasts, satisfying lunches, and gourmet dinners designed to complement the serene atmosphere of the retreat.
Stroll through the expansive gardens — filled with towering gum trees, cherry blossoms, magnolias, and seasonal flowers — or explore the nearby national park trails for a bit of outdoor adventure.
This is a place to reconnect — with nature, with each other, and with yourself.

Meet your chef, Angie
A true south-coast treasure, Angie’s culinary brilliance is matched only by her commitment to a sustainable, ethical and locally sourced menu. Think rich cardamon-scented Massaman curry, smoked burrata pasta, salads that crunch with freshness and taste, Buddha bowls bright with colour and flavour, homemade chocolate truffles… have I got your attention yet?
A trained chef, cooking teacher, and expert fermenter, Angie is passionate about sharing her knowledge of food and nutrition. As one of the founders and former culinary director of Two Good Co, her passion lies in using food to help transform lives. Wholesome, nutritious, nourishing and all sourced from the local area, Angie’s food deserves a retreat of its own. Hm. Maybe I’ll work on that!
